Steve Carlisle is the President / CEO of FSI Field Specialties Inc.

Steve Carlisle co-owner FSISteve created FSI in 2008 to capture market share for vapor remediation services in the petrol chemical industry

Mr. Carlisle has over 33 years of hands-on experience in the petrochemical industry; starting as a pipe welder to rise to supervisory and managerial positions with companies such as Valero Refining and Fluor.  He has direct experience in multiple aspects of the refining industry including refinery plant operations, shutdowns/start-ups, project estimation/planning/costing and execution.  This invaluable experience base and industry contacts were built over two decades of work in the Gulf Coast area of Texas, from 1976 to 1999.

From 1999 to 2003, Steve was the Operations and Sales Manager for the Pinnacle Corporation, a Canadian Company providing services to the petrochemical industry.  During his tenure at the company, Steve tripled sales to $3M and developed new service opportunities for the firm.

In 2003, Mr. Carlisle left Pinnacle Corp to form Furnace Specialties, a services company for the petrochemical industry providing furnace de-scaling/decoking services to refineries and production fields.  In 2007 he sold the company for a profit in order to pursue new opportunities with FSI Field Specialties Inc.

Steve resides in Santa Fe, Texas.

Mike Joy is the President / CEO of Remediation Services Int’l (RSI)

Mike Joy Co-Owner RSI - FSIMike has been with the firm since 1991.  He started at RSI as its sales manager, after transferring from RSI’s parent company, Convenience Management Group (CMG), a small oil company and convenience food store organization, where Mike had been its Construction Manager.

Mike was promoted to General Manager of RSI in 1995 and has managed the company since.  He held licenses with the State of California Contractor’s Licensing Board, General Engineering, type “A” with Hazardous Waste certification; and was also a Registered Environmental Assessor, level one with the State of California’s EPA. Under Mike’s tenure, sales grew from $0.5 million to a peak of $5M at the height of SVE environmental remediation work in 2003.

Prior to CMG, Mr. Joy was a partner in two construction companies, JDM Construction and Petro Systems, Inc, both of which specialized in building service stations and convenience food stores.  Mike ran the California division of JDM from 1987 to 1990.

Mike resides in Newbury Park, California.
