In many states, air quality regulations are now being
enforced to control emissions of volatile organic
compounds (VOC) from facilities that load organic
liquids.
Applications include degassing above and below ground
storage tanks, marine barges, railroad tank cars,
truck and trailer loading and vapor control of floating roof landing.
How does this
affect you?
These laws maintain that you must
provide certain levels of safety and air quality when
emptying or cleaning tanks containing volatile organic
chemicals (VOC’s). The vapors left inside the tanks
are dangerous and very hazardous to people’s health.
