Emergency Power Generation
Providing long or short term emergency power for military, Fema, Homeland Security, heavy industrial and municipalities during a natural or man-made disaster locations around the world. Our system can be connected to a VOC waste stream such as a fuel or chemical storage tank to generate electrical power to fuel pumps and other electrical power needs. Electrical power is now available on your site for running lights, electric pumps, tools, blower motors, compressors, etc.
Not only does RSI’s equipment operate without requiring an external source of electricity, now our equipment can produce electricity for other uses.
RSI now offers generator modules that interface with our internal combustion engines. Our systems provide 40 kW and 80 kw in stock, larger units quoted upon request and produce this electricity by using extracted contaminants as fuel while remaining completely under computerized emissions control.
The RSI Phoenix S.A.V.E. controller monitors and adjusts process parameters to maintain stoichiometric combustion even while the generator module is producing electricity.
Properly equipped, RSI remediation equipment can turn unused energy in the form of hydrocarbon contaminants in the soil or groundwater or VOC storage tanks into a reality anywhere in the word there is a VOC waste steam to tap into.
RSI systems are self-contained and portable. Trailer mounted units may be towed to your site, quick connected to a propane or natural gas source to start up and shut down only, and can be operating within minutes!
Also works at remote locations where major fuel spills need soil and groundwater remediation. Forget the cost and logistics of delivering diesel and gasoline for standard generators and destroy the VOC’s in the process.
